The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of characters who will split off from the primary party to begin their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could enable the team enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
